Gianna’s Gift is the adopt a family for Christmas program created by Founder Davida Godett to remember those who have been so generous to her family during past holiday seasons. When Davida’s child Gianna was born in September 2009, Davida herself was already a single mom of a six-year-old and trying to help a teenage boy who had lost both of his parents within two years. When she needed help for her family during the holiday season, Davida was amazed by the outpouring of assistance she received. They were not only provided Christmas dinner for her family, but also was Santa to her and her children. Davida wishes to do the same every Christmas for a family who has a member who is a stroke survivor.
We here at Healthy Thoughts don’t believe that the recipients of Gianna’s Gift are only in need of clothing and toys; we also believe that families need to experience life together. So please feel free to donate “The Gift of Experience” to some of the following activities by providing gift cards or tickets to:
